Working and More Diving
Well, this Friday I was out of town working - in Wildwood and Ocala. Which is pretty convenient considering the SCUBA Club planned some diving at Devil's Den (Right near Ocala). So after staying Friday night in a hotel I met up with the club for some SCUBA. It was awesome, Devil's Den is a huge cavern with lots of swim-throughs. I highly reccomend it. Sorry, No pictures. Unfortunately, Jennifer had to work Saturday, but she did get to hang out with the girls from her bible study to break bread at Cracker Barrell. We are about to go see a movie tonight, so I'll post the details from that.

Diving in Panama City

Jennifer posing for the camera once we got off the anchor line.
Yes, we made it to Panama City for some camping and diving over the weekend. It was an interesting experience. After a fun night of camping (and some great company from the FSU SCUBA Club) we headed off to the NOAA facility in PC to catch our dive boat, then set off to dive an old bridge span. The water was COLD! 64ยบ F. Even in a wet suit that is cold. Jennifer and I decided to only do one dive due to the temperature, and hey... it ain't the Florida Keys. So After a morning of diving we rushed back to Tallahassee so Jennifer could make it to Spanish and I could make it to the bed to take a nap.

First Post!!!!
Okay, so we'll see how this works.
Jennifer and I are planning to go to Panama City this weekend for her SCUBA Diving Class. We may work out a way for us to camp at St. Andrews State Park. It is a pretty nice place, but way overpriced compared to the other state parks. It costs $24 a night to camp. I guess that is because it is in a prime spring break location. I hope to be able to get in on the diving as well, but we will have to see what the crowd on the boat is like. Maybe I'll just do some diving around the jetties in the park, the problem with that is I will have to rent some equipment. If I make it to the boat, I will try and post some pictures if this blog site will let me.
